my many sonas...
i talk a lot about very personal topics to me, like internet history/archival/culture, queerness, disability, shame, childhood memories, sickness, eroticism of the inanimate, otherness and self acceptance, all of which are often closely intertwined. Sometimes i am very eloquent and sometimes i just list random thoughts off of the top of my head. i overshare a lot!! apologises in advance for the wordy pages, i hope you like to read. i also acknowledge i am not particularly well read in some topics i am passionate about - feel free to recommend me things you feel i may be interested in!!
i made this site because i have a lot to say!! Some of it is good, some of it is bad, most of it is silly or funny and only a small percent is serious. i unfortunately have quite debilitating memory issues and dissociate often, so putting a finger on who exactly i am is hard. hopefully making a little sitewide collage of all the things i know make me 'me' will help, as well as fend off the shame of claiming those traits as truly my own. i hope you enjoy the ride!!

- media literacy/internet archival/internet history i am so so passionate about archival and freedom of speech/knowledge on the internet. donate to the internet archive and wikipedia today!!
- heraldry, cartography and medieval europe i don't know much about it but i'm fascinated by the aesthetics of especially celtic typology and symbolic motifs.
- physical media it ties back to internet archival but i WISH i owned every handheld plug and play console on the planet... i am too poor unfortunately :(
- breaking bad/better call saul generic i know but i love this franchise more than anything... it's famous for a reason!! the director's commentary is wonderful to watch. nacho's baptism is my favourite arc out of both shows, howard hamlin is my favourite character.
- robots, angels, sentience, the abstract hard to explain this one but i am VERY drawn to insentient, inanimate concepts or objects, especially those that are abstract and/or personifiable. more about this later. objectums/conceptums understand.
- open world, non-linear games especially those with a high learning curve. i love metroidvanias but am far more drawn to getting placed in a world where you have to figure things out yourself over 50 hours or so. rain world and project zomboid come to mind :3
- spirituality again a topic i'm not very well read in, but i'm certainly interested in. i'd like to learn more about it and how it's shaped our societies today.
- worldbuilding tying back to my interest in history and cartography, i have so much respect for people who are skilled at this!! i'm very interested in storytelling and its different mediums
things i would like to do one day. some of these aren't super realistic but i still aspire to achieve them in some way :3
- learn c#!! at however basic a level
- improve landscape rendering/background painting skills
- use more glitter and stickers. any context is valid
- reignite my interest in the mundane
- read about environmental storytelling
- learn more about space and our galaxy
- have a big physical media library
- learn more about spirituality/religion throughout history
- unlearn shame, get more embarrassing
- write a short comic, learn about panel construction
- experiment more with cinematography/video works
